Session Long Project

The analysis will be divided into five parts, one part for each module.
The framework for the Session Long Project and for generally conducting the case study:

Module 5 – Patient Consent/Patient Rights and Responsibilities/End of Life
MODULE 2 ASSIGNMENT:
For this Module you will need to complete the following tasks. This section will be added to the end of your Module 1 submission.

The legal concept of tort law
Law of tort is a collection of legislations that offer remedies to persons injured or rather harmed by reckless and unreasonable dealings of other persons. They are state laws that subscribe to the legal premise that somebody is liable for the repercussions of their actions if they cause harm to another party. The law of tort explains civil suits, which were established to protect private rights of individuals. For educational purpose, the law is categorized into two distinct types; intentional tort and negligence (Horwitz, 2011).
Tort serves four primary objectives. First, it Compensates persons injured by intentional and negligent actions of other parties. Second, it shifts cost of injury from the plaintiff to the individuals are legally responsible. Thirdly, it aims at discouraging carelessness, risky behaviors, and evil motives in the society. And finally, it seeks to justify lawful rights that have been diminished, compromised or emasculated by the society.
